About GDAIDC

A private non-profit industrial development entity, GDAIDC has developed two business parks on Woodbine Lane (see map below) in Danville, resulting in the retention and creation of over 1700 jobs. The business parks include manufacturing, warehousing, professional buildings and a day care center.

Chaired by Attorney Art Peters, Jr., GDAIDC has expanded into a regional partnership while remaining independent.

The Greater Danville Area Industrial Development Corp. is a member of the Economic Development Council of Central Pennsylvania, which aids existing companies and lures prospective companies to the central Pennsylvania region.

GDAIDC also holds a seat on the Board of the Innovation Center of Central Pennsylvania, which works to support new and existing development of an incubator process that assists local college graduates in fulfilling their dreams of owning a start-up business.
